Dilemma of Destiny

This story occurred in 2013 it was deepawali time and I was in Jaipur and especially in Jaipur, Rajasthan it becomes more eventful, so this time I decided not to pack my “Boriya Bister “for home  and enjoy this beautiful festival in this beautiful city. All different kind of shops were full of lights, diyas and other things which attracted passers-by.  People were excited and restlessly seeking for discounts, flat sales. One of the strange offers I noticed was “3 eggs free with 1 kg chicken” in one of butcher shop near Lal Kothi , Jaipur (I hope Flip kart  will understand the meaning of Diwali offers before giving “big billion day” offer). So in this beautiful day I was walking on road to see the watchable things then suddenly noticed that one old man and his wife were shouting at each other. For me, it was as usual so I continued my enjoyable walk however, people as usual gather around to see the family drama. Surprisingly, it won’t last too long so our dear public continued their respective shopping.
The most important thing,  I like about Diwali that though there is so much noise, the inner soul of mine remains innocuous. So, what happened next was I saw  old couple again, this time on different path so I able to see them they were coming near to me and I was shocked they were still arguing and the moment they passed by me,  the old man was saying ,” you ruined my 50 years of life. His wife was not shocked by that comment however I was.

A person after spending precious 50 years with someone would say like this …it feels life is nothing...whole life is meaningless. It’s not limited to marriage but also with love of life. It can be anything which you desire. A person who desires to be something deeply in life would know the importance of that moment when s/he achieves that thing however when that thing becomes futile…It really HURTS…

That old couple went past by me and in any corner of this world still they would be arguing…as they did not get what they WANTED or what they got was not ENOUGH(I am talking about happiness , don't think it  in another way ;) ). I don’t know… but I know about life… "A journey which always starts as a destiny and ends as a history". You cannot mix them both. If you got what you want …it’s good…if not…very good… go ahead see yourself in mirror… you are good for something else.

This life is precious whatever you want in this life, be in to that thing completely..be faithful to yourself..I  believe in one thing.. At least do one good thing which would be memorable to you and when your last day comes on this earth you would be happy that , that thing of mine in which I poured my whole life ...its done by ME.

Thank you.

the day that never comes...

It was 2008 when i was in my teenage and completely enjoying my school days. As a student i always had a special enmity with Tuition or coaching classes( for me it was boring classes and force classes). I was in 11th grade and had to go 3 different places for 3 different subjects(i opted science stream and most of the parents thought these tuition walas will gave a tonic which will have physics laws, chemistry and maths formula in it) and because of this my parents gave me a big surprise which i didn't  expect... nice, dashing, super cool BICYCLE so that i would not have any problem. Days were going smooth and one day a life changing day came in my journey of life which is unforgettable and very close to my heart. It was Sunday and i had to go for tuition(Sunday spoiler = tuition ...hence proved) of maths. After tuition classes, i was going back to home, with my friends and suddenly a old person nearly 80-85 years old stopped us and asked me and friends to buy homemade sweets and chocolates. At first i was surprised why this old man is selling homemade sweets... as i was aware that no one will buy homemade sweets as here in India people don't trust people...and they always teach same lesson to their younger ones. Even i was told when i was young by my parents and other people never ever take suspicious things from others in which chocolates and sweets were included and this old man surprisingly selling both these items. I was in dilemma because that old man was looking weak and from his eyes it was clearly visible that he was in pain(empty pockets and empty stomach are worst and useful lessons of life). So i decided not to take homemade sweets and decided to take chocolates. I was about to ask for chocolates suddenly my friends gave Rs 5 to the old man and told him nicely we do not want any chocolates and sweets. This move made old man angry and he said, beta tumhe nahi chahiye to mat lo..par yeh bheek me nahi lunga..pehle naukari karta tha aaj bete ne 1 mahine se ghar se bahar nikaal rakha hai..mere saath budiya(old man's wife) ko bhi bahar nikal diya hai..isliye yeh chocolate aur ghar ki meethai bhechta hu..bheek ki nahi khana..na kal khaya hu ..naa aaj khaunga...(son if you dont want to buy dont buy ..but i will not make money by begging..my son threw me and my wife from our own house and that's why i have to sell these chocolates and sweets..i had never ate in my entire life by begging and never will )...REALLY touched by those lines...i told that old man to keep that Rs 5 and give chocolates and sweets instead. He gave that chocolate and sweets to me and i divided chocolates between us and i took sweets as no one was willing to take .....i went home and told whole story to my mother..my mother as she is mother india very protective ....told me to threw those chocolates and sweets backsides of our house and warned me dont eat that chocolate...and speech by my mother continued for 1 hour and finally i went to my room and watched and smelled that chocolates and sweets ...and that 1 hour speech by my mom was lingering all over my head...i went to my terrace and decide to throw those sweets and chocolates...my heart was saying NO to me as the innocence of old man was coming in front of my eyes...but my mind saying to throw that poisonous sweets...and finally i decided to go with my mind and threw that chocolates and sweets backside of my house after taking a little bite of that chocolate...nothing happened to me.....really one of the worst decision ever taken by me...i was foolish person ...Now as i am getting chance to go home after 5-6 months...whenever i go to terrace even today taking that action haunts me...a picture of that old man comes in my mind and i know may be he is not alive today..but a sincere apology to that old man for not believing him...he was an innocent seller...i made him bad person by taking that decision...that day will never come and if god will give one chance to improve my past i will choose this old man incident as i want this innocent old man to be innocent ever in my memory. i know today we cant trust strangers as we had ample of examples in front of us but these examples should not be increase as they prevent us to see good qualities of other person as i was unable to see so these examples should remain just an examples... so that we can count the number of good people in this beautiful earth.....................thank you    (pardon my English)

"कही तो हो "by: अमित रावत(AMIT RAWAT)

(This poem is dedicated to all women who suffered a lot from this patriarchal society...this is now responsibility of each citizen of our country to ensure female friendly environment). This poem is in hindi, kindly put hindi option ;)

follow yourself

INDIA, the country whose population is more than 1 billion..now one question always strikes on my mind why we have very few leaders in our country. If we will do any kind of survey in our country i m definitely sure it wont exceed 1000(here i m talking about real leaders).Imagine a country whose population is more than 100 crores and when we search for a real leaders how many it will be?

Actually the problem of our country is that 1 billion people always wants to follow .the good future leaders of our country just wanted to join the multinational companies or other good organizations of other countries....

Now how can we say them a "Real Leaders".of course they are the CEO or Directors of that multinational companies or other organizations but after that they all are following the man who is the real leader of that company. Now you all are thinking that if these CEO or Directors will not be on those positions then who will be?..here i m not talking about every CEO or Directors but i m talking about those person who have its own talent and strengths ,the person who have the quality to lead the world then why HE/SHE is following.

I just want to ask you one question how many of you can name the real leaders of our country?
YOUR answer will be ...NOT MANY...but why??

The reason behind this is that we all are not following our own path, our own thinking, our own strengths. You all can be a "leaders". I know one question will raise on your mind that if everyone will be the the leaders then what will remain uniqueness in leadership. Here i am not emphasizing to be a leader of good organization or having a highest post in government sectors. I am emphasizing to be a leader of your own..to be a leader of your thinking ,your mind, your heart.and everything .

The CEO or Directors of those organizations also have these qualities but somewhere they also lack and i.e may be they all comfortable or satisfied with whatever they have..that's a little problem a great leader never ever satisfy with his/her job.he/she always trying to do more better.

I wrote my title name follow yourself. Your mind is saying different and your heart different . Be a leader of your mind and your heart because when you all have to take a one way decision these two your heart and your mind will come in your way..

Many times i think why a Leader is Leader and Follower is Follower then one day i found that a Leader and Follower both follows but Leader follows him/herself and followers follows that leader that's the difference...

SO ALWAYS FOLLOW YOURSELF...                          - amit rawat
